  • An interactive touch screen that guides users through extreme environments used for research about microbial life on Mars, Europa, and Enceladus. Users select between hydrothermal, hypersaline, desert and ice research sites on a global map and then touch a series of images to zoom in from wide angle perspectives to micrographs of the microbial life found there. Designed for casual unmediated interaction by one or more viewers. Developed for Brad Bebout at the NASA Ames Research Center Exobiology Branch.
